PLUS Join our video challenge and raise awareness of BibleLands this Christmas!
Think you can do better?
Choose any carol from the Bethlehem Carol Sheet. Video your church members/pub regulars/friends singing it to a tune that's NOT THE USUAL ONE. We've used Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as an example, but the choice is yours. Upload it as a video response to the above video on YouTube. (Make sure it's a video response so we know it's there.)
After Christmas, we'll pick our favourite entry - the winners will be featured in our magazine and receive a trophy! The deadline for uploads is 19 January 2010, and the winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
Anyone can take part in this competition - you don't have to have ordered a Beer and Carols Pack. If you would like to order one, however, here's how!
Order a Beer and Carols Pack
The idea is really simple. You ask a local friendly landlord if you can hold a carol singalong in their pub in the run up to Christmas. You find a musician to accompany you, and order your beer and carols pack from BibleLands by emailing Carlton D'Souza or phoning him on 01494 897905. The pack contains carol sheets, a music book and a BibleLands' collecting tin. There is a small charge to cover postage and the cost of producing these materials.
